TEXT, LEFT PANEL:
It is hard to know where to begin with this /
I like exploring the space of sound / and I feel like I'm immersed in sound / use space the way language uses silence / I've been driving around in the psychedelic late splendor of upstate New York / It's a complicated, kaleidoscopic region where / you're standing on the ledge, wondering /
I get completely absorbed in the luminous tone clouds / I kept thinking / it's like it's a feeling under the feet, like the give back from what's going on /
These things have their own rhythm / just listen to what / If I didn't think the way I think almost everything that has happened to me would still have happened to me and the only difference would be that I would say things like / I was there, I am here, and I am /
I would have stuck a fork in it a long time ago.
TEXT, RIGHT PANEL:
The reluctance to let go of the past /
There were no footprints in the snow / Shakespeare understood this / You only get a couple of chances to do big things / the long run takes a long time to arrive, and when it comes / just drop a hammer on this / and crank up the air conditioning /
He woke up at 6 a.m. and started punching / and the phone started ringing / he looked up to the blazing blue sky, trying to make sense of it all / he stumbles into stand-up / the algebra has grown / chop it down and jazz it up / these are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time /
He can make himself a sandwich.

Dentist's text: Right away things got off to a mood slump start. This man spent years yelling at people on TV. There is a lot to chew on.
Man's text: I cannot see myself. People thought of me as on the brink on kick-start attention span deficit.

Text:
Both on horseback the cowboy and his daughter materialized out of nowhere. Two days into backpacking through Escalante River Canyons. Cowboy said: "Those paw prints in the sand. Maybe a mountain lion is tracking you". That night sleep came very late. And when it did come it was uneasy.

1977: Voyager spacecraft launched. Carl Sagan was one of the team leaders that created "The Golden Record", mounted on the spacecraft, explaining and depicting many cultural and technological aspects about our planet, including a recording of Chuck Berry's "Johnny Be Good". Eventually became the first earth object to leave the solar system. My artwork is a riff on The Golden Record's drawing of a hydrogen molecule.

In my America I have a front row seat in the parade at The Department of Homeland Hallucinations.
I am a massive hiccup of mystery.
I am in Utah and evolution is colliding with my salami sandwich. My hair falls out when time marches on.
